Patricia presents a concert in honor to composer Jaime León in Barcelona

One of the most important Colombian composers of the 20th century, Jaime Leónwrote an important corpus of songs on poems by Colombian writers. Works of exquisite subtlety and refinement, which combine elements of the American musical of the 1950s and Colombian rhythms with the traditional German Lied.

On September the 22nd, at the emblematic Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi in Barcelona, soprano Patricia Caicedo and pianist Nikos Stavlas will present a concert in homage to Colombian composer Jaime León Ferro (1921-2015).
Very attached to Jaime Leon, Patricia has dedicated much of her work to the promotion of his figure, having published two books and a CD devoted to his vocal repertoire.
